To be a première solution provider, offering software alone is not an optimal approach. Most systems that need external hardware to either realize the function or optimize its speed have to rely on hardware to complete the solution. The traditional approach is to identify existing hardware platforms and then attempt to mold software around these generic hardware systems. The result is a system that is never optimal nor cost efficient.
